Sonrise Ministries will be opening a prayer and worship center as soon as the Lord allows. Our heart is to worship and pray as the elders and living creatures of Revelations 5:8-10. Falling down before him and praising him with harps and bowls of incense. Singing a new song he puts in our hearts. "Worthy, are you [Lord]."

8 And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s holy lovers. 

9 And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb:

“Because you were slaughtered for us,

   you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals.

   Your blood was the price paid to redeem us.

   You purchased us to bring us to God

   out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation.

10 You have chosen us to serve our God

   and formed us into a kingdom of priests

   who reign on the earth.”

Psalms 96 is a call to sing and sing to the Lord a new song. Any form of worship is beautiful, but God is doing a new thing. Laura Hanson has been working on songs spirit-inspired and scripture-based since 2012. Her EP has now been mastered and is in the process of being released now!

Go ahead—sing your new song to the Lord!

   Let everyone in every language sing him a new song.

2–3 Don’t stop! Keep on singing! Make his name famous!

   Tell everyone every day how wonderful he is.

   Give them the good news of our great Savior.

   Take the message of his glory and miracles to every nation.

   Tell them about all the amazing things he has done.

4 For the Lord’s greatness is beyond description,

   and he deserves all the praise that comes to him.

   He is our King-God, and it’s right to be in holy awe of him.

5 Other gods are absolutely worthless.

   For the Lord God is Creator-God,

   who spread the splendor of the skies!

6 Breathtaking brilliance and awe-inspiring majesty

   radiate from his shining presence.

   His stunning beauty overwhelms all who come before him.

7 Surrender to the Lord Yahweh, all you nations and peoples.

   Surrender to him all your pride and strength.

8 Confess that Yahweh alone deserves all the glory and honor.

   Bring an offering and come celebrate in his courts.

9 Come worship the Lord God wearing the splendor of holiness.

   Let everyone wait in wonder as they tremble in awe before him.

10 Tell the nations plainly that Yahweh rules over all!

   He is doing a great job, and nothing will disrupt him,

   for he treats everyone fair and square.

11–12 Let the skies sing for joy! Let the earth join in the chorus.

   Let oceans thunder and fields echo this ecstatic praise

I am doing something brand new, something unheard of.

   Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.

   Don’t you perceive it?

   I will make a way in the wilderness

   and open up flowing streams in the desert.
